Wholly unoccupied or mainly unoccupied properties are not accepted at new business. A small element of the property can be unoccupied at inception, but this must not exceed 20% of the overall property.
You'll need to discuss the unoccupancy with one of our underwriters by calling our Online Trading Centre on 0800 051 8001.
Yes, our policy does include Malicious damage by tenant. You can find details in our Policy Wording. Conditions apply and there is a limit of £5,000 in any one period of insurance.
Wholly unoccupied or mainly unoccupied properties are not accepted at new business. A small element of unoccupancy may be acceptable and care must be taken to enter the correct percentage when completing the risk capture.
We can accept flat roofs depending on the construction. We will accept felt on timber roofing, but we have stricter acceptance rules where there are elements of fibreglass and/or plastic. Care must be taken to select the most appropriate roof construction types and percentage amounts from the list of available options with the risk capture where the roof material is anything other than slate, tile or concrete.
There is no need to add an interested party to the policy. To make it easier for your customer we have included this automatically. Please refer to the Interested Party condition within the Policy Wording listed above.

eTrade policies are set to run for 12 months, and therefore the end term dates can't be amended.
